Before leaving, in January i asked some of my friends to give me something, as a small present that would keep alive in me their memory: when you become an exchange student, or anyway, you move out from your native place, you have two parallel lifes to keep moving on and it's really difficult to be in contact with all the people you would like to talk, and also to remember everyone (it may seems a bit evil to say, but it's like this!). Just a couple of months ago i was travelling with Nina to Oslo, it's so incredible what happened and i'm really worried for Andrea, my swedish friend who lives there, i tried to put myself in contact with her,hope she will reply soon. When i started my exchange program in Denmark i thought i would have knew more about nordic culture, experiencing everything it was possible for me, in Aarhus. But looking back i learned a lot of thing regarding different cultures, making me really feel like a "citizen of the world".THis is the best thing i own from my exchange period. I'm writing from a small two room apartment in Lisboa, Portugal.Outside the huge window i can see the sea and a part of the city.As Arhus,this city is really up hill (and off course down hill..I remember when i was young my father used to always ask me "There are more up or down hill?" just to tease me) so we have a nice panoramic view.

I was actually talking with Ottavia,she left the 22nd of June and from that day we didn't see.
She asked me how was my come back from Aarhus to Italy.

Today i took an exam at my home University,i spent my last few days studying hard at the library.But it was almost not granted.First: my university library close at 7 pm. Secondly: the two days before the exam they decided to close at 17:45, i don't know the reason.
I'm spending days saying "In Danmark this won't be possible!" complaining about everything.My Aarhus Faculty Library was closing at ...NO!It was not closing at all! Actually it was closing at SIX in the morning.Which means you coul... (more)

After taking a train in Frederichstrasse at five in the morning,watching the sun rise behind the window ,i arrived at the airport,with my luggages full of clothes and memories that i wanted to keep alive and open,not closed and tight in 60x40x80 cm space.

My last two days in Danmark were really intense of emotions and feelings.I had to say bye to my remaing friend and also to my boyfriend.He had to leave a day before me,around 5 am of Monday.So our last day togheter was Sunday.We spent it in the park with the crew of one of the cafè he’s djing in.It is called “Rar-bar” and I knew already some of the bartender and the other djs,cause they are his friends and he introduced them to me before.

Nostalgia nostalgia,today i received a notification of a video made by one of my friend.He’s actually a professional video maker,and he made a reall nice video that made me be quite nostalgic.It’s been filmed in Mads’ house,I talked about that evening,some posts ago.Our paradise place.

In these two days in Berlin i couldn't stop to think of my stayig in Aarhus.Still,it is a bit difficult to think i'm not there anymore,and signs of Denmark continue to show up around the city.
Once Nina told me that danish and german are quite similar as languages,so sometimes i still feel in Aarhus cause i read sign and they seems danish.Having studied danish for a while is helping me understanding something here in Berlin.
