Study abroad stories

I'm writing from a small two room apartment in Lisboa, Portugal.Outside the huge window i can see the sea and a part of the city.As Arhus,this city is really up hill (and off course down hill..I remember when i was young my father used to always ask me "There are more up or down hill?" just to tease me) so we have a nice panoramic view.

We.As we i mean me and some of my friends meet in Erasmus.Ottavia,while i'm writing is laying down the mattress we put on the floor to chill out a bit.Bruno,the owner of the aparment,our Portuguese friend,is doing laundry with Uli,our german friend.RIght now we are four in the apartment.Four really tired souls sharing this apartment.
Yesterday night we arrived "home" at 5 am from a three-day-festival were we camped.Coming yesterday night was the best solution for us,even if we staied in line for the bus for an hour and a half.
With us there was also Francesca: the italian trio (me,her and Ottavia) was back together.As anything was actually separated us five for some times,we went around Lisboa and enjoyed the festival.So many memories came back again,so many feelings.Seeing again the specific behaviours and way of being of my friends (Ottavia's uncertanty of everything,her clumsiness,Bruno's sense of humor, the refined way of speaking of Francesca and the german-like-organization of Uli) was actually a relief, a blow of air coming back from the past that bring back nice memories and smile on your face.Tranquillity.
There is actually a specific word in portuguese,which has not a real translation.Is "SAUDADE" a mix of longing,nostalgia and yearning,that i think i will feel after all these long reunion of a week (which will last on the 20th)

One big moment yesterday night.There was a indie club in Arhus, were we five,and all the other of the group was actually going together and they usually played a song by The Strokes.Yesterday night we saw them live at "Super Bock Super Rock" festival,and they singed "Last Night".Big big big recalling.
